Seedlings grown in seedlings can either be used in the same farms for further growing plants in order to obtain a crop, or be a subject of sale, i.e. a commodity.
In fact, growing seedlings for themselves in seedlings is mainly done in countries with a not very developed greenhouse business. In advanced "greenhouse" countries like Holland, seedlings are bought from those who grow them for sale. Therefore, in the Dutch greenhouses that grow products, as a rule, there are no seedlings.
Growing seedlings in greenhouse countries is a good business, perhaps even as good as growing produce (vegetables, flowers, etc.). Moreover, seedlings are traded not only within the country, but also for export.
