What is PENTACUP?
Aweta has developed a machine for round fruits and vegetables: Pentacup. This machine has been specially designed for low volume manufacturers. It doesn't take up much space and is easy to use. Pentacup is a combination of complex separator and sorter. The machine consists of a frame with a standard length of 11.9 m, which fits perfectly into the body of a truck or container. It is easy to install and even easier to maintain.
A unique feature of the Pentacup is the patented five-sided cup (cap) cell for transporting the product. This five-sided shape guarantees the stability of the product in the cell, which allows you to accurately determine its weight. Therefore, the Pentacup can sort products between 40 and 110 mm in diameter (such as tomatoes, stone fruits, apples, etc.) at up to 15 cells per second. The line is equipped with weight sensors that guarantee an error of max. RMS off in weight 1%.
Control
The Pentacup sorts products by weight and can be used in conjunction with a color and diameter camera. The car is light and easy to drive. The touch screen panel allows the operator to easily start any program. The user interface allows the operator to move through the system step by step. Each step eliminates several options, which prevents mistakes and leads to correct decisions. Since the machine can be used for small batches and quick sorting, the operator can independently set up programs to work in addition to existing programs. Programs can be saved and activated as needed.
Gentle product handling
Products move smoothly from the separator to the sorter without obstructions or falls. Separation of products before sorting ensures accurate product handling. Single line machine can send sorted products from the line to both left and right side. The Pentacup is programmed to make batches of product of the same weight. Once a certain weight is formed, the packer delivers the products and fills the box, ensuring the same weight in each box.
