The dual-purpose machine is mounted on a single frame using one conveyor. The machine can pack at high speed thanks to the double packing bar. The speed of the machine is continuously adjustable between 2.500 and 9.500 products/hour by means of an adjustable motor. The machine has been designed to seal each cucumber in shrink film, which ensures uniform shrinkage of the film on each individual cucumber and quality wrapping to preserve the product. The machine includes a shrink chamber with a unique head design that automatically shifts to one side of the machine if the machine stops for any reason. Thus, the cucumbers on the conveyor are protected from overheating.
If required, the Aweta SK1 can be integrated into the GS7 system to form a complete sorting and packing line.
The Aweta SK1 is available in both its regular and extended versions and can also be configured with an optional semi-automatic product loading system.
