Hydrocoolers
Hydrocooling allows the product temperature to be lowered to +/- 1 degree. The performance of Stas nv. from 500 kg/h to 10,000 kg/h.
Hydrocoolers from Stas nv. were developed together with a manufacturer and a partner supplier, which made it possible to gain experience in the efficient and fast removal of field heat by bathing pallets in a stream of ice water.
An additional advantage is that the fruits are washed with clean drinking water. Water purification does not result in the pollution that some other chlorination process can cause.
The process is quite simple, a large amount of cold water, by sprinkling, falls on the moving trays with the product, without causing any damage to the product.

Pallet-type hydrocooler from Stas nv. Belgium
Product inlet/outlet: Pallet setting by forklift. Place for two (by agreement of a larger number of 3-4 pieces) pallets.
Ice water tank with chiller. Water volume: 3m3
Can be connected to an existing refrigeration system, provided there is sufficient capacity.
Estimated entry temperature for cooling + 30С; Product outlet temperature +1C;
Optimal for one batch of loading 200kg/pallet-> 2pallets*200kg(15 minutes cycle)= 1600kg in 60 minutes.
Inspection hatch for tank maintenance;
Nylon curtain-screen (red) automatic Drive: motor-reducer for opening/closing the curtain, fixed speed.
Circulating water pump 3kW PVC piping.
